The 100% Iberian Acorn-Fed Shoulder – Dehesa Maladúa is an exceptional product that comes from pigs raised free-range in the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Biosphere Reserve. These pigs are 100% Iberian and feed exclusively on acorns during the montanera (free-range) period, giving them superior-quality meat.

The natural diet of acorns and grasses in the dehesa (pasture) is key to the unmistakable flavor and aroma of this shoulder. The fat infiltrates the muscle, making each slice very juicy and with a characteristic shine.

The curing process is artisanal and natural, with no additives. It is cured in drying sheds and cellars in Jabugo, taking advantage of the local microclimate. This slow curing allows the shoulder to develop its complex flavor and perfect texture.
