100% Iberian Bellota Shoulder – García Mimbrero – DO Dehesa de Extremadura
Since 1956, García Mimbrero has maintained the tradition of producing the 100% Iberian Bellota Shoulder – García Mimbrero. We use artisanal methods, adapting them without changing the essence of the product.
Our shoulders come from pure Iberian pigs, raised free-range in the Spanish pastures. These animals enjoy a life outdoors and are fed naturally, mainly with acorns during the montanera (free-range period). This is key to their exceptional flavor and quality.
The curing of the 100% Iberian Bellota Shoulder – García Mimbrero is a slow and natural process. It is dried in special cellars, where it develops its unique flavor and texture. The result is a rich and complex flavor, with sweet and savory notes.
Its aroma is intense, and its meat is tender and juicy, with that infiltrated fat that melts in your mouth. It also comes with a black seal and is gluten and lactose free.
